At Vinitaly 2026, we presented the new Recantina DOC Asolo Montello, a local wine from the Colli asolani area, born out of a desire to promote a historic grape variety from the region and its strong ties to local tradition.

Recantina, a local red grape variety originally from the Asolo area and the Monte Grappa Riviera, has been rediscovered in recent years after a long period of abandonment. For our family, it also holds significant sentimental value; today, this grape variety is once again expressed in an authentic wine, with an intense red colour and aromas of undergrowth, currants and red fruit; on the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with a brief spell in medium-sized barrels that enhances its structure without altering its identity.

The new Recantina is also a project that combines wine and the local area with a tangible social purpose: it stems from a partnership with the Vita e Lavoro cooperative, a local organisation dedicated to social inclusion. The wine label draws inspiration from a design created within the cooperative and reflects the colours of the Colli di Asolo region: the blue of the sky, the green of the grass and the red of the grapes.

With this Recantina Asolo Montello, unveiled at Vinitaly 2026, we are reinforcing our commitment to showcasing native grape varieties and promoting the Asolo area.
